Senior Frontend Developer at Scalable Path

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join Scalable Path to work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
The client is a well established, but growing, company in the on-demand cloud printing space. They provide the most cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly print solution for global companies through having a global network of world-class printers to carry out printing locally. Their ambition is to cut 90% of print-related transportation and reduce companies' print costs by 50% to benefit both their customers and the planet.

The client's development teams are highly ambitious and nurture a startup-style culture. Currently, the brand has over 3 million customers and they have grown 400% in 4 years. They have also achieved the highest customer satisfaction rates in their industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be implementing a new, responsive design for the client's marketing website. They have a pretty good website already, but they want to take it to the next level and make it truly world-class. They have an internal designer who will be providing designs and it will be your responsibility to make sure they are implemented extremely well. They are looking for someone who can take static designs and make them look great on all devices.

Although the website uses many new-ish technologies (Node.js, Handlebars, Sanity.io, SASS/LESS), it's OK if you don't have experience with all of them. The most important thing is that you are smart, an excellent communicator and collaborator, and have the ability to pick up new skills as needed.

RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:
You will be working primarily with the Product Manager and also with the sales and marketing team who are located in London and Boston. The client is in the Europe/Oslo (+02:00) CEST time zone.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent English Communication
- Responsive HTML/CSS
- JavaScript

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:
- Good "design sensibility" (ability to implement designs well)
- Node.js
- Handlebars templates
- Sanity.io CMS (headless CMS)
- SASS and/or LESS
- Bootstrap

HOURLY RATE:

The pay rate for this role is from $30 to $50 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.
