In Your New Role:
As a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test | SDET at StyleSeat, you will have a rare opportunity to shape the future of automated tests at StyleSeat.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Automation Leadership during product development from design to release
- Assist in test engineering strategy, test planning, and test data management
- Writing and executing requirement-based tests
- Strong analytical skills to identify test plan automation possibilities
- Increase test coverage and reliability
- Familiar with web testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and Appium
- Passionate about software testing and quality assurance (QA)
- Look for efficiencies in our current automation suite
- API, UI, App, and Performance automation
- Participate in tooling projects to complement our Automation strategy
- Role may involve manual testing at times
What you can bring to the table:
Successful candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds, yet here are some of the critical experiences we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in Automated Testing
- Has worked in the Quality Assurance space, but is more technical driven
- Knowledge with multiple programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, and Java
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Cypress and Selenium
- Experience with multiple languages
- Tooling experience
- Test Management
- Performance Automation experience
