Remote Senior Data Architect at Verys

Verys is a multi-disciplined technology delivery firm that offers a strategic approach to building software through user-centered design, modern development architecture, and business alignment all wrapped up in a structured agile environment. We build software to be proud of for clients like Bethesda, American Airlines, Kia, and Experian.

Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside technical leads, developers, QA analysts, and project managers to deliver the quality code that’s led to our stable growth over the last 9 years.

Skills and Requirements

  • Heavy expertise in Databricks is a must-have requirement.
  • You’re smart, adaptable, and love picking up new skills.
  • You have advanced knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards
  • You are highly adept with reporting packages (Tableau Software), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and concepts of ETL design and execution.
  • You have strong experience in modelling, managing, scaling and performance tuning of high volume data warehouse environments.
  • You are adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You are skilled with Python, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS
  • You communicate well with teammates and clients, and your experience backs that up.
