SUMMARY
The iFit DevOps Team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer- Messaging/IoT to join us as we build products and experiences that empower our broad and diverse user base all around the world.

We are headquartered in Logan, UT and you are welcome to work from the office or mostly anywhere else in the US (there are a few exceptions). We are very experienced and comfortable working in a remote-friendly environment. We currently use Slack, Zoom, and Google to keep our communication alive and engaged!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Subject Matter Expert in data streams and IoT messaging
Responsible for defining data streaming best practices and supporting development teams during implementation stages
Responsible for maintaining operational excellence of all things “events”
Responsible for configuring and using tooling to provide visibility into messaging for distributed systems
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Strong AppSync, SNS and SQS experience
Experience working with a multi-account AWS environment
Familiar with consuming large amounts of data for data analytics
Experience managing messaging across a multi-account AWS environment
Ability to define messaging best practices and drive teams to build scalable solutions around them
Familiarity with incident response best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with AWS Kafka is a plus
