Senior WebRTC Engineer (x/f/m) at Wonder

Your Challenge

• Work with seasoned WebRTC experts
• Architect and scale our growing global low-latency WebRTC stack for millions of simultaneous users
• Integrate small group and broadcasting modes in our unified WebRTC stack
• Create a world-class audio and video experience with a combination of proven tactics and algorithmic innovations
• Interact with the ecosystem and contribute to open-source to drive necessary change in the major browsers
• Write code

Your Profile

• You have a spike in one of the traits we value: Craft, Ownership, Growth Mindset and Empathy. Check out our Team values to learn more
• You have experience across the full JS-based stack (both Node.JS and ReactJS)
• You have experience in at least one more programming language (e.g. C/C++, Go, Rust, Python, Java)
• Ideally, you have experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, WebRTC, Redis, CI/CD
• You know the latest state of the WebRTC specification, the state of different browsers and common frameworks and how to apply them in production.
• Have experience in JavaScript (Node.JS) and one or more programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Python, Go, Java)
