We are looking for a passionate system / network administrator that also will handle intersecting needs for information security. As our organization continues to grow, we are aiming to recruit additional staff members in this department and are open to either:
- Experienced system administrators with information security backgrounds
- Or more junior system administrators/developers that are eager to grow and break into a career path in information security as well.
Being an organization in the Healthcare Software and Services segment, we have several security and compliance related frameworks, assessments and validations that we need to continually adhere to. A large portion of this role is implementing technical solutions that meet those goals and criteria, much of which applies to our infrastructure.
We are a cloud first organization, with all of our infrastructure hosted within Microsoft Azure. We also maintain and support laptops for our staff. We utilize JIRA as our ticketing system, and leverage PowerShell and Git source control to maintain a systematic and consistent process for change management to our infrastructure. For our staff laptop fleet, we utilize Microsoft Intune for centralized device configuration and management.
We would prefer for someone local to the Dallas area that can be available to work in the office as needed (for example, for issues related to staff laptops and to be on site for annual security assessments). However we are also open to candidates not local to the Dallas area. In either case, this position can be mostly remote and flexible and most of our technical team today is remote throughout the US and not local to Dallas.

- At least 2-3 years in system administration experience
Salary range will be determined based on experience and proficiency in both system administration and information security. Demonstration of similar technologies to the platforms we use is acceptable, but experience or familiarity with the technologies we utilize is preferred. Security mindedness a must, but no previous formal ISO role history or certifications required.
